Damon Sayer has 30 years experience in the building and construction industry and during this time has developed over 1,500 key contacts.

Damon Sayer is a trade qualified builder with a passion for education. It is this unique combination which motivates him to do what he does. His current roles involve education and promotion within the building industry. Damon and his team are able to connect directly with a very specific target market.

Damon completed his apprenticeship on residential building in Christchurch, gaining New Zealand Certificate Carpentry, Advanced Trade Certificate Building and Construction. After a period of residential construction in Europe, Damon returned to New Zealand and engaged business opportunities with Gib Board Services, winning multiple franchise of the year awards gaining technical solutions training, specification marketing and management skills.​

Having gained knowledge of Native timber and decorative panel products, sales and marketing skills assisting in the family business. A joint venture opportunity and senior management position was pursued with a construction marketing business developing architectural promotion specification skills.

Followed by assisting a leading Australasian home ideas business, creating Architectural Marketing Services division. This was later purchased by Build Smart to provide construction marketing solutions to gain product specifications for new and existing clients.​
