PukePine

Pukepine Sawmills was established in 1998 at the current site in Te Puke and a few years later they added Purepine Mouldings as a complimentary operation. The Tanner family have been involved in sawmill ownership for over 30 years bringing a wealth of knowledge to the business.

SmartClad

SmartCladTM is a new-generation timber weatherboard system. You get the look of traditional bevelled back weatherboards, plus the advantage of an advanced fixing system that ensures exceptional performance and a perfect finish.

SmartCladTM weatherboards are made from New Zealand’s sustainable trusted wood source — radiata pine. They’re 100% timber, not plastic or composite. SmartCladTM weatherboards have the standard bevel-back shape, that New Zealander’s have loved for over 60 years.

The big difference compared to regular weatherboards is, our boards can be installed using our unique SmartCladTM hidden fixing clip — the SmartClip.

Purepine

Purepine Mouldings is the timber re-manufacturing operation of Pukepine Sawmills. The primary base of operation is located in the township of Te Puke, Bay of Plenty. Working as a complementary operation alongside Pukepine Sawmills ensures that Purepine Mouldings has access to plantation-grown Radiata pine that has been processed to their exacting standards to meet the wide range of products for both domestic and overseas clients.
